About Edwin L. Good
Ed entered the financial services industry in 1982. During the period 1982-1993 he specialized in employee benefit and insurance consulting for small businesses and professionals. As an independent financial planner, he founded the predecessor company to Good Wealth Management in Atlanta, GA in 1993.
Ed has a B.S.degree (Physics) from Eastern Mennonite University and a Master’s degree (Business) from Georgia State University. In 1986 he completed the Chartered Financial Consultant professional designation from the American College. In addition, Ed has taught courses in insurance and has held many seminars on estate and retirement planning.
Prior to his career in financial services, Ed was delighted to devote the first ten years of his working career with the non-denominational college student ministry of Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF); four of those years as the Southeast (US) Director of IVCF.
Ed and wife Esther moved to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia in 1997. They have two grown children and five grandchildren. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Harrisonburg Rotary Club, and is an active member of the Church of the Incarnation.
Mr. Edwin L. Good holds FINRA Series 24, 7, 63, 65, and 31 securities registrations held through LPL Financial, and Life, Annuity & Health, and Long-Term Care insurance licenses.
